Registrations are to be completed online. Please find below the link that will take you onto the new registration platform.
If you are a NEW player, please register as a new participant. If you are a returning player- please log into your basketball connect APP and register for the NEW season. Championship Winter Season
Dedication. Expertise. Passion.
Winter Season will commence Round 1 Grading from 03-05 May and go until Round 13, 16-18 August. Final rounds finishing, 07 September. This is the season that players remain in their SAME age group as the Summer Season.
If you are a RETURNING player -please log into your Basketball Connect APP or the Townsville Basketball Website using the links register for the Winter Season. You will receive a Basketball Connect email to confirm your registration. Please contact Townsville Basketball or whirlwindsjunior@outlook.com if there are any concerns. Basketball Connect APP This is the app system that Townsville Basketball will be using for the up and coming season. It can be downloaded from the apple store or google play.
JUNIOR COACHES AND TRAINING TIMES: Training Information All of our Whirlwinds Basketball Junior Teams train on a Monday or Tuesday afternoon. This all depends on court availability and coaching staff availability. Changes may occur for Winter Season, depending on court and coaching availability. Training times have been allocated to Whirlwinds for: • Townsville Basketball Stadium. Mondays from 4pm – 6.30pm. • Training sessions are 45mins of ½ court sections allocated to team/ age group If training occurs on Tuesday – this will be at Sports Precinct, North Ward.
UNIFORM INFORMATION For uniforms – playing singlets are provided by the coach. Families are required to purchase Whirlwinds Basketball playing shorts. FEATURES: Register to play basketball, View live scores, games schedules, timer countdown, court locations, draw and ladder information, team chat all in real time for spectators.

If you are a RETURNING player -please log into your Basketball Connect APP and register for the Summer Season. You will receive a Basketball Connect email to confirm your registration. Please contact Townsville Basketball or whirlwindsjunior@outlook.com if there are any concerns. We will aim to be back in communication with you at the start of school (October) to let you know about team placement/ allocated coaches/ training sessions.
